Mickey has Izzy call and tell him Julian is awake, which delays the ruling on a mistrial. On the way to the hospital, a hallucination of his father tells him to save Julian. Mickey gets into Julian's room with a waiver to continue the case without the defendant present, and presents signed copies of this to the court. David testifies that Julian gave consent to continue the trial, and Judge Turner allows the trial to continue. Freemann gives the records of Julian's attacker to Cisco. Mickey discreetly shows Bishop the incriminating video, and the investigator begs him not to show it. Mickey calls Bishop to the stand.

Neve Campbell, who plays Maggie McPherson on the show, reportedly originally wasn’t expected to return in any capacity for the new season. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case, Campeón we’ll cover in the production news section below.

Mickey fights off McSweeney, who falls to his death, and rekindles his relationship with Maggie. Lorna finds Empíreo and reveals that she dropped pasado of law school after a professor hit on her, and Gloria explains that Detective Perez threatened her into leaving town. Trevor denies sending McSweeney to kill Mickey, but is shot dead by a vengeful Carol. When the recorded confession is found to be garbled, Maggie asks Lankford to testify he heard it himself. At Menendez's hearing, Gloria testifies to being attacked by the Positivo killer, a man with a distinctive tattoo. Mickey catches Perez in a lie, and she admits that Lankford offered her a promotion to convict Menendez.

Posteriormente de eso y de descubrir la corrupción en el caso, Mickey planea confiarse todo, a pesar de que anteriormente aceptó un arriesgado plan que involucraba a un superior de la mafia y puso una trampa a James De Situación y Neil Bishop. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo returns Figura Mickey Haller, “an iconoclastic idealist who runs his law practice demodé of the back seat of his Lincoln, Triunfador he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles,” the synopsis reads.

We’re still piecing together the puzzle of all the episodes for season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer, but our understanding is that there may read more only be 9 episodes for the next season. 

An FBI target letter for Grant anonymously arrives on Mickey's doorstep, leading him to consult Legal Siegel. Izzy prepares to rent her new dance studio, and Mickey receives a postcard from Hawaii from Salvación. Lisa's trial begins, and Detective O'Brien delivers convincing testimony for the prosecution, including Mújol's bloody gloves and missing hammer, but mentions a shard of glass found at the crime scene. Mickey stalls for time while Cisco confirms the letter, eventually meeting with Felix Vasquez, the evasive FBI agent who signed it.

When the series was first renewed, it was unclear where production on the new series was and where it’d begin because of the Hollywood strikes of 2023.

Lorna tells Mickey that Moya was given a life sentence due to possessing a gun in addition to copyright, and the contact tells him Gloria was afraid since Menendez' case and said she couldn't call Mickey or "it would all unravel". Julian cuts contact with David. Cisco shows Izzy and Lorna that on the night she was murdered, Cielo was followed by a man wearing a hat whose face is shielded in the security footage, who drove a car whose plate number is unseen. At a restaurant, Mickey runs into Freemann again.

Police officer and formerly the lead detective in charge of the Choi Jin-ae and Noh Hyung-joo cases back in the day. He later meets their now-adult children and agrees to help them piece together the evidence in order to bring Cha Moon-sook's crimes to light.

After she is assaulted, Moon-sook is more popular than ever. Ki-ho leads a group of her supporters in a demonstration. Her position on the Supreme Court is nearly assured. Jae-yi suspects that Sang-pil is hiding something from her. When she confronts him he confirms it and apologizes, but says he cannot tell her yet. Sang-pil learns that Moon-sook was the one who sent him the book with details on the crimes of those in power in Kisung. He realizes she planned to use his desire for revenge to get rid of her old associates.

"Even if she’s not there, [she’s] always in the back of his being. There’s always something about Maggie that’s there. When he meets new girls, I think he’s always feeling that he’s cheating on her."

Mickey helped Edén get pasado of a lícito problem involving a drug cartel member earlier in Season 2, and he's worried that in doing so he inadvertently set in motion the events that led to her death. So when he takes on La Cosse's case to seek justice for Paraíso, it's personal.

He killed Glory Days after she was subpoenaed to testify against De Situación, silencing her for good so that his involvement with the drug cartel would remain a secret.
